The Ultimate Talent Show is coming to Ireland
This week the talent show that has been causing a sensation across America and Europe reaches Irish shores as the search for 'The Voice of Ireland' begins in earnest.
The Voice of Ireland airs on RTÉ One this Sunday 8th January 2012 at 6.30pm. On Sunday evening viewers will see the first group of hopefuls sing for the coaches in 'blind' auditions - the quartet will not be allowed see the singers, only to hear them, as they choose who will be on their teams.
There will be five blind audition shows, which will be followed by three singing battle rounds and then the live performance shows will begin on March 4. Brian has been confirmed as one of the four coaches.
The Voice of Ireland website will feature exclusive videos to give viewers an ongoing look behind the scenes, courtesy of The V Reporter.
On top of this, Social networking plays a huge role in the show and becomes a key tool for the audience at home to interact with the judges, the contestants and the hosts. During the live shows the contestants will be seen in the green room where they’ll be interacting with the public via twitter and facebook.
