2006 Special Olympics Ireland Games Opening Ceremony

From 21st-25th June Belfast will host the 2006 Special Olympics Ireland Games.  Around 2000 athletes with learning disabilities from all over Ireland will arrive in Belfast to represent their regions across 13 different sports

The Opening Ceremony of The Games, which has attracted a total of 2,000 athletes, 500 coaches and delegates, 5,500 volunteers and 4,000 friends, families and guests will be held at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Wednesday 21st June.  Brian will take part in the ceremony by performing a couple of songs.
